Barlioche: Some Loose Ends

I've blogged about the "big" event in each of our days. However, there were some other aspects of our trip that added to the wonderfulness.

Food! This was huge. We ate so well.
This was the only meal out that I photographed. And there are more pictures, but this was my favorite. We went to an all natural restaurant. And this was desert: a grilled apple with cinnamon ice cream. So. Delicious.

We also made dinner one night. Also wonderful.
Getting there and back = 42 hours round trip.
We stocked up on food for what ended up being a 20 hour bus ride. This is the imported food isle. We didn't buy anything from this section, but most of it was American. It was fun to look at.
It was incredibly flat.

We occupied ourselves by sleeping, watching the third season of Downtown Abbey, and then the whole bus played bingo. The same woman sat across the isle from us both ways. She was middle aged and had this ringtone that seemed completely opposite her personality. It made Lindsey and I laugh every hour when someone new called.
Traffic. The trip was only supposed to be 17 hours. That man is standing outside his car.
There is currently no interwebs in my house. I'll work on posting more soon.
