Ode to Joy

I'm in Argentina. Where they speak Spanish. Or Castellano as everyone here says. Twice now, I have gone to choir practice with Lindsey's host mom. It's a lovely community of old(ish) women and a few men. Last week the songs were all in Spanish. This week we learned Ode to Joy. In German. You did read that correctly, German.

Not any German. German written with Spanish phonetics. Basically, one of the women wrote down the German words phonetically. It was hilariously fun.
