Maipú

This many already be clear, but Mendoza = Wine (and sun). Mendoza is the capital city of the region of Mendoza. There are many smaller regions in the Mendoza region. One of them is Maipú (pronounced: My-Poo. We found this amusing). We visited a museum in this region. Essentially it was the first house built in the Maipú region. The family who built it made all their money in wine. So basically, it was a wine museum in a really old house.

It was one of the first houses to have plumbing. It was kind of pretty plumbing.
Pretty, roped off rooms. With beautiful lights (it was one of the first houses to have those, too).

Each of the flowers on the railings were different.

One room was dedicated to Maipú Vendimia queens.
If you haven't read the Vendimia post it's the one below this.

It was a beautiful house.

A wine room.

This is really only pertinent to one person.
Mum, I assume you'll show Kelley.

All of the grape leaves for the different grapes.
