Mosaics!!!!!!!!!! We went to this street that one artist had turned into his project. It was the street he grew up on and he still lives there. He started with his own home and then spread up and down the street. Here are all of the (okay, not all of, but most of) the photos I took:
And then we got to make our own mosaics. Here's mine. I had so much fun making it. Although, I wasn't supper happy that I messed up the pattern. Especially, because I know exactly what needed to be done to fix it.
And then Sunday suddenly appeared and we only had the morning before it was time to hop on the plane home (more on that at the end of the post). It was a great morning. Because I went to the San Telmo fair. And there I found ANTIQUES!!! YES!!! I only took this one photo, because there was just too much to see (and shop for) and so little time. It was great. One of my purchases was these shoes. I deem them a successful and worthwhile purchase at $30 pesos. That's the equivalent of $6. Plus they're just awesome. I also bought a blue enamel colander. But really that shouldn't surprise any of you reading this. The guy warned me about 50 times that it couldn't be used for food. I didn't feel like explaining how well versed I am in colander shopping. It's currently in good use holding all of the chargers to my various electronic devices.
Back to that whole "hop on the flight home thing." They put us on the wrong plane. How is that possible you ask. Funny story. It went something like this: Our flight number was called, and we all rose from our seats (which may have been the ground...where I may have been sleeping). The gate attendant checked our tickets and walked down the one and only boarding ramp onto the waiting plane. So far so good. But there was no flight crew on the plane. Also, there were people with seat numbers that didn't exist on that plane. So some guy stood up and got everyone's attention and said it's the wrong the plane and we all needed to get off. So we do. And we went back up the ramp and out another door and took a shuttle (kind of a far distance) to our actual plane. Which had a flight crew, the right number of seats, and ham flavored crackers.

This post had me laughing out loud multple (many) times. Miss you, Miss Cassidy!
